Both De Gouden Kooi locations are open every dag, holidays included.
De Gouden Kooi – Escape games (Gerechtstraat 10, Mechelen) opens all day.
De Gouden Kooi – Escape experience (Haverwerf 7, Mechelen) opens during the week in the afternoon and evening. In the weekends we are open all day. As from July 2021 our experience will be opened all day too.
During the holiday periods these hours may deviate. We often extend our opening hours.

De Gouden Kooi – Escape games
(Gerechtstraat 10, 2800 Mechelen)
There are various parking options in the area. You can park cheap (max. €1 per hour in the week, free from 8 pm and in the weekend) at ‘Zandpoortvest 2’ parking lot. This parking tower is located at about 5 minutes walking distance.
On Saturdays between 9 am and 7 pm, you can park for free in ‘P&R Nekker’ car park and take the free shopping shuttle that will drop you off at the Veemarkt (from there you walk for another 2 minutes).
With the bus:
The large Veemarkt stop is a 2-minute walk away. Ten lines come together at this stop (1, 2, 5, 287, 500, 508, 550, 551, 552, 558).
Mechelen-Nekkerspoel stop. Then you walk via Keizerstraat to the Gerechtstraat. This walk takes approximately 5 minutes.
De Gouden Kooi – Escape experience
(Haverwerf 7, 2800 Mechelen)
There are various parking options in the area. Nearby is the underground parking Lamot (€ 2 per 50 minutes – € 18 for a day). Put your GPS on Guldenstraat 18.
On Saturdays between 9 am and 7 pm, you can park for free in the ODTH car park at 8 Antoon Spinoystraat and take the free shopping shuttle that will drop you off at the Korenmarkt (from there you walk for another 2 minutes).
With the bus:
The Mechelen Korenmarkt stop is a 2-minute walk away. You get there by taking line 1.
Mechelen stop. Then you walk towards Bruul, and when you cross the Dyle, follow the Dyle path to the left. That path runs over the Dyle and takes you directly to the Haverwerf. This walk takes approximately 15 minutes. You can also take bus line 1 and get off at the Korenmarkt stop.
